In the late 70's, I started creating more open sculptures with negative spaces playing a more integral part.   I transitioned from bronze castings to welded and forged steel.  Later,  I worked with wood and mixed media.  Since this a very satisfying  medium, I've continued  exploring the possibilities of natural wood structures, negative space , and varied materials.
