Painted Wood Formations

This is a play on "rock formations."  Combining pieces of driftwood with synthetic pigmented cement and stones, I create new forms that would otherwise not exist.  Painting accentuates the shapes and highlights aspects I want to enhance.  Added stones re-enforce connections and serve as focal points on the aggregate form.
