Potomac Denizens
This is a series representing an imaginary culture discovered on the Potomac River shore. The materials come from a specific site on the river and are inspired to be objects found in an archeological dig tracing this imaginary past.

Rusted steel from an office chair and bone are combined with wood, stone, and pigmented cement for this creature representing death and renewal. Measures 14.5x16x7 inches, presently mounted on an 8x8 inch Travertine base.

Seeing into what is to come, this creature calls for leadership, preparation, and action . Made of wood, stone and pigmented cement, it measures 13.5x5.5x8.5 inches. Presently mounted on an 6 inch round Slate base.
